Privacy Policy

Domain Monitor is a service operated by G.MEDIA. This policy explains what information we process when you use the website and the @gmediatoolsbot Telegram bot, and why.

The tools work without an account. We process the domain names you submit in order to prepare reports and run checks; most of this data about domains is publicly available.

To keep the service stable and protect it from abuse, we process technical information such as your IP address and request details. Server logs are kept for a limited period.

Report data about domains may be cached for a limited period so that the same domain is not re-checked on every visit.

We use functional storage: a cookie that remembers your language and, in your browser, a list of recently viewed domains. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) without advertising features. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Turkey, Brazil, Serbia and other countries where the law requires it, GA4 runs only with your consent; elsewhere on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the site. Event data is kept for 14 months; user-level data for the minimum period Google Analytics allows (14 months) and is reset on new activity. Opt out via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page, the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on or your browser settings. GA4 is not loaded for visitors from Russia.

If you use the bot, we store your Telegram user ID and language, the domains you add and the results of their checks. We need this to monitor your domains and send you notifications.

We do not receive your phone number or contacts. The bot only processes the messages you send to it.

The Telegram channel check shows data about public channels from the open API of telemetr.com: the channel’s name and @username, subscribers, average post views, language, category and Telegram verification, each with the time of its snapshot. This data is already publicly available; we do not store it in our own database and keep it only in a short-lived cache.

We do not show the names or contacts of channel owners and do not make judgements about channels.

If you own a channel and the data is wrong, or you want it hidden, write to legal@g.media with a link to the channel — we will fix or hide it.

To prepare reports we query public registries, DNS and third-party data providers. They receive the domain name being checked, not information about you. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data on our behalf to run the service. Google processes visit statistics for us through Google Analytics.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising and do not build visitor profiles.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Bot data is kept while your domains are under monitoring; you can remove a domain at any time with /remove.

You can ask what information we hold about you or ask us to delete it by messaging the bot or contacting G.MEDIA. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The service is not intended for children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest version.
