Privacy Policy

Domain Monitor is a service operated by g.media. This policy explains what information we process when you use the website and the @gmediatoolsbot Telegram bot, and why.

The tools work without an account. We process the domain names you submit in order to prepare reports and run checks; most of this data about domains is publicly available.

To keep the service stable and protect it from abuse, we process technical information such as your IP address and request details. Server logs are kept for a limited period.

Report data about domains may be cached for a limited period so that the same domain is not re-checked on every visit.

We use only functional storage: a cookie that remembers your language and, in your browser, a list of recently viewed domains. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

If you use the bot, we store your Telegram user ID and language, the domains you add and the results of their checks. We need this to monitor your domains and send you notifications.

We do not receive your phone number or contacts. The bot only processes the messages you send to it.

To prepare reports we query public registries, DNS and third-party data providers. They receive the domain name being checked, not information about you. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising and do not build visitor profiles.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Bot data is kept while your domains are under monitoring; you can remove a domain at any time with /remove.

You can ask what information we hold about you or ask us to delete it by messaging the bot or contacting g.media. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The service is not intended for children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest version.
